SideShow-enabled Controller

The WPCE521L is a low power-consumption, highly integrated Enhanced Auxiliary Display controller.

The WPCE521L enables developers to support Microsoft® Windows® SideShow™ applications for notebooks, desktops, remote controllers, keyboards, and displays. It includes an extremely reliable processing unit with a range of connectivity capabilities, enhancements, and extensions. It is fully integrated with Windows Vista™ and is compatible with Windows SDK.

The WPCE521L integrates an ARM7TDMI RISC processor, LCD controller, USB 1.1 device controller, UART ports, watchdog timer, programmable I/O ports, two 24-bit timers, a PS2 host, an SPI master, SMBus masters, an advanced interrupt controller, and an External Bus Interface (EBI) with SDRAM, ROM/SRAM, flash memory and I/O devices.
