The W6811 is a single channel PCM CODEC with pin-selectable µ-Law or A-Law companding according to ITU G.711 and G.712. It can accept master clocks from 256kHz to 4096kHz. The analog section is fully differential, reducing noise and improving the power supply rejection ratio. The analog output is inverted and an on-chip power amplifier is capable of driving 300O loads differentially up to a level of 6.3V peak-to-peak.
The device operates off separate analog (5V) and digital (3V) power supplies and is available in PDIP-24, SOP-24, SSOP-24 and TSSOP-24 package options.
